This page explains what information this website collects, why, and which outside services are involved. We only ask for what we need to reply to you and run the site.
Booking enquiries
When you send an enquiry on the Book page we receive your name, your preferred contact method and the matching phone number, WhatsApp number or email address, plus the event type, event date (or that it isn’t confirmed yet), location or venue and any notes you add. You tick a box to agree that we can use these details to reply about your enquiry.
These details are stored in our booking system so the band can review availability, reply to you and prepare a quotation. The band is notified by email when a new enquiry arrives. Sending an enquiry does not sign you up to the community or to marketing messages.
Quotations and payments
If we send you a quotation, it is linked to your enquiry. Quotation, payment-request and receipt emails are sent to the email address you gave us. Bank transfer details are shared with you directly; this website does not take card payments.
Joining the community
Joining our WhatsApp community is separate and optional. On the Community page you can say whether you’re based in the UAE or abroad, and you can choose to share an email address — we only keep it if you tick the box agreeing to receive a welcome email and occasional show news. We also keep a simple count of how many people joined from the page.
The community itself runs on WhatsApp, so WhatsApp’s own privacy terms apply once you join.
Feedback and testimonials
The feedback form collects your name, an optional email address, the event, a rating and your comment. Feedback is reviewed before anything is published. If published, only your name, the event and your comment are shown — your email address is never displayed.
Performance planner
The optional performance planner sends the event details you type into it to an AI service to generate suggestions. Please don’t include personal contact details in the planner text.
Site usage statistics
We count page visits and a few key actions — such as tapping a Book or WhatsApp button, starting or sending the enquiry form, opening a performance video or printing the press kit. These records contain only the action, the page, which button was used and, where relevant, the event type or video name. They never include your name, phone number, email address or what you write in a form.
To prevent duplicate enquiries, your browser remembers the time of your last enquiry for a short while.
Outside services on this site
- Instagram — our Instagram feed (shown through Elfsight) and performance videos load content from those services, which may collect information under their own policies. Performance videos only load from Instagram when you open one.
- WhatsApp — WhatsApp buttons open a chat with us in WhatsApp.
- Gig Heaven — the footer badge loads an image from Gig Heaven and links to our profile there.
- Google Fonts — the site’s typefaces are loaded from Google.
- Maps — some event listings link to a map; it opens on the map provider’s own site.
- Social links — Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and similar links take you to those platforms.

Capture the Moment event photos
When you share a framed event photo, we store the photo, its event name, image dimensions and capture and submission times. You give permission for it to appear publicly in the current event album and on a venue screen, and for Acoustica Dubai to use it on our social media channels as marketing content. Please have permission from the people pictured before sharing. We do not ask for your name, email or phone number for this feature.
Photos wait for admin approval unless auto-approval is enabled for the event. Hidden and waiting photos are not included in the public album. Your device keeps an unsent framed photo for retry where browser storage permits. Approved photos remain in the Acoustica album until the client or a person pictured asks us to delete them; copies already downloaded or shared cannot be recalled. Contact us to request removal at any time.
